This is my very first venture into writing & I am thrilled to share it with you. What began as a love for reading has grown into complete worlds filled with mystery, emotion & characters that feel alive to me & I hope, to you as well.

Smoke & Mirrors
In the mist-draped alleys of 1950's Edinburgh, Dorian lives a quiet life running a second-hand book shop, hiding from a past he has sworn to never speak of. Once a powerful magician, Dorian turned his back on magic after a tragedy that shattered everything he believed in. Now, his days are filled with ink-stained pages, forgotten tomes and the echo of things unsaid.
When Elena, a young, brilliant girl with eyes like blue fire, steps into his shop looking for work, Dorian's carefully constructed world begins to crack. Elena is passionate, unafraid and unknowingly carries a spark that stirs the very magic he's tried so hard to bury.
As she becomes a fixture in the shop and in his life, strange things begin to happen, books move when no-one touches them, shadows whisper secrets and long dormant forces awaken in the corners of Edinburgh's historic streets. Dorian suspects Elena may be more connected to the magic than she realises - possibly even darker parts of his own past.
But as danger resurfaces and secrets unravel, Dorian is faced with a choice, continue living in the ashes of the past or embrace the power - and the love - he never thought he deserved.
